Starbucks Coffee Kobe Kitano Ijinkan

Was so surprised to find this Starbucks shop within a white western style heritage building. I actually preferred the homely feel. Didn’t feel like I was in an actual franchise. Only in Japan 🇯🇵

Beautiful historic landmark that happens to be a Starbucks. Even if it want a coffee shop it would be worth visiting to see the quaint little mansion. Also it's a mansion. That the best part is you can enjoy your coffee in one of the rooms in this big 2 story mansion. The view from the second floor is perfect also. I usually visit here when I come and always take new people here when they visit.

I didn't try the coffee here but the ambience was fantastic. It's established in an old and well maintained English house. The items were the usual Starbucks variety but for me the best thing was to find the Kobe mug which I was unable to find in other Starbucks outlets in Kobe. Staff was very welcoming although they were in the process of closing the shop. Nice experience

If you come right when it opens at 8am you have it to yourself, venture upstairs for nicer views & seats. Set in this historical house in a quiet neighborhood this shop is well-worth a stop-in. Lovely old antique seating & furniture. Katie Perry etc on my visit, but I f they kept the music to jazz or classical it would add more to the atmosphere & experience.

Wonderful vibes at this historic Starbucks situated in a historic building in a historic section of Kobe. It can get crowded but it's a huge Starbucks so you'll likely still find seating. Look at photos to see the western styling. Staff are even nicer than typical Starbucks employees, which is quite impressive in Japan.

The oldest female employee was very unkind. I hope the older female employee will be able to reflect on her own. So I'm going to give you the lowest grade. Apart from this, the atmosphere of the building was good. And the youngest female employee was very kind. (I visited during the evening of weekdays.)

I had heard it is crowd place but there was not many people at 8 pm. I think it was good place.

Is the most beautiful shop to be ranked As disciples need to experience the atmosphere here. The place is huge because it is the whole house. A lot of seats Beautiful, both in the daytime and at night. A very classic class for here.

A unique Starbucks located in an old historical building. There are always lots of tourists so it may be difficult to find seats. Nonetheless it is worth a visit to check out if you are in Kobe. The surrounding area is nice as well for walkIng around and checking out the buildings and shops.

This very Starbucks is an old western style house located on the slope side which lead up to the foreigners houses area.The service is great and you should have a coffee here in this old house instead of paying entrance fees to the houses on the upper hill side.The house should be over 100 years old and it's a two stories building.

Was so good

This Starbucks is probably the coolest one I have traveled to in the world. I love to grab a seat in one of the second floor rooms and relax with a book and a coffee. Sadly seating can be hard to come by later during the day as this location does draw attention and a crowd from people traveling to and from the Kitano neighborhood in Japan. The customer service is great and the menu has enough English for travelers to get by.

One of the top Starbucks in Japan, in terms of decorations, architecture and designs. This is located within the stretch of nice buildings which are more European in style. Kobe is one of the earliest cities within Japan that opened up to foreign influences and you can see that in terms of cuisine available, buildings and culture. Back to starbucks, this is a two storeys building, with the settings of European influences. The services and coffees are typical of Starbucks. People are friendly and standard English to order Starbucks are easily understood.

A old western design decor of Starbucks cafe. Experience average. It will be prefect if it snows and sitting by the window. Ha. Drinks and cakes are average.

Lovely decoration matching with this area. Don t miss this place when you travel around here. This place have two floor. I love the second floor of this place. Its good for reading book or take a nap after walking around Kitano area. A lot of tourist stopover here to take a picture.

Beautiful and localized exterior and interior . But sad to sad due to the old structure the inside is kinda having the moldy smell and not that all clean compare to other Starbucks so one will not enjoy the time fully.. crowded as everyone would love to visit tis iconic outlet

Clean place drinks are good fast service

The most unique Starbucks i have ever been to. The atmosphere and views it feels like you are drinking coffee in the 1800s. You need to come early tho or it will get crowded.

One of the best Starbucks in the world. Pretty elegant and historical. It's worth to stay a whole afternoon with smell-good coffee, sunshine, and the history. Would absolutely visit again if visiting Kobe.
